HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

What exactly do you have to do to become a member?

TO BECOME A MEMBER:

(1)   Sign up in the Math Club Bulletin Board in Room B206 or with our Advisor, Ms. DeGuzman (same room)

OR

(2)   Attend two consecutive meetings (Tuesdays, during lunch at B206)

v     If you sign up through the board or Ms. DeGuzman:

-         You will be asked your name and phone number.

-         Our secretary will call you up prior to the next meeting and answer any of your questions about Math Club

-         Every new member is required to fill out an information sheet. The benefit of us calling you is that we can fill out the info sheet for you thru the phone and all you have to do is sign it.

-         However, before becoming a member, we require our pending members to attend two consecutive meetings before you can sign your information sheet; hence, before becoming an official member.

v     If you attend a general meeting:

-         After you attend your two consecutive meetings, we will then give you an information sheet to fill out and sign; hence making you an official member.

-         If you attend one meeting but miss the following week’s meeting, then your first attendance will not count.

For example: You came to this week’s meeting, didn’t make it to next week’s meeting, but came again the following week’s meeting, that doesn’t count. You have to come to two meetings in a row to be eligible in becoming a member.
